COACHING?
INTRODUCTION

Coaching helps someone to move forward either personally or professionally by getting out of old grooves and making new mental & emotional habits. People choose coaching because they want to make a change. Clients may be setting up a new business, working towards gaining a promotion, planning a strategy for retirement or redundancy, making a complete career change, achieving a life-long goal or wishing to improve their understanding of their impact on others.
Coaching offers people the opportunity to do some quality thinking about themselves and their opportunities, time and support to consider what is preventing them from setting or achieving goals and encouragement to take the steps they identify.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Typically a coaching contract might be 6 or 8 sessions of an hour each. The process usually begins with a half an hour meeting or phone call for the coach and client to determine whether they want to work together. Future meetings can then be in person, on the phone or by skype/zoom etc.
